In today’s world, distractions are everywhere - we’re bombarded with notifications on our phone begging for our attention while the people around us are asked to ‘hold on just a sec, I need to take care of this.’\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eThat was my life for a long time, and to be honest, it’s still something I find myself struggling with once in a while. Being present means wherever I am and whoever I’m with - they have my full attention. It means focusing on what’s in front of me instead of what’s next. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMost importantly, though, it’s valuing the time we get with others.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eA few months ago, there was a dad on Linked In that wrote a story that was enough to make any grown man cry. Reading it made me reflect on some changes I wanted to make in my own life, so rather than try to paraphrase, I wanted to share the link directly with those of you who may not have seen it. Part of the idea behind these four \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eombré\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e designs is that they’re things we work at - we grow into them, just as the letters on the inside grow as you read them.
