Do Not Give In

If you've ever struggled with giving up (we all have), I want you to wear this. Most of you know we make a lot of the ZOX we release for things that we struggle with as well, and this one is no exception. 

So let's talk about it.

How many times in your life have you been working diligently on something, just to find out you made a mistake and rather than starting over, you just give up? How many times have you pushed yourself physically, just to have your mind tell you it's ok to quit now, even though you haven't reached your goal? Let's get extra real here - how many times has someone said something unkind to you and you found yourself replying with something you immediately regret?

You're a human being, so I'm going to guess you've experienced all three of these situations a lot.

Me too.

When I thought about why those things happened, I realized one simple common thread: I was giving in. Even though I hold myself to the highest standard, sometimes I was letting the emotional part of my mind take control, getting upset with a situation and responding without thinking it through. I wasn't thinking about how I'd feel tomorrow, when the effect of giving in would be realized.

My hope for you (and me) with this ZOX is that we'll remember tomorrow. We'll keep pressing forward, even when it's hard, even when it's tempting to give in. It's only when we acknowledge our weaknesses that we can work to become stronger. I hope you'll join me.
