Have you ever had the longing to leave everything behind and see the world? Fernweh is a modern word, that originated from Germany, which means a craving for travel or distant places. It is often cited as an alternative to the word “wanderlust”. I myself have always had that ache to be somewhere new especially after returning from a memorable trip.
