Being a plant person, I love any excuse to wear a ZOX with a plant design on it. So when I Will Survive came around I thought it was so beautiful, but didn't really think much of it beyond that. When Elijah, who works on the Marketing team, came up with the concept for this photoshoot, it hit me like a ton of bricks how perfectly this design matches the phrase of the strap. Raising house plants, and any plants for that matter, you know they go through some really tough struggles in their seemingly simple lives. Pests want to eat them, kids want to play with them, pets want to dig them up, we forget to water them and let's not even get into the harsh weather conditions for outdoor plants! But plants, and nature for that matter, are so resilient. They always find a way to make it through the toughest seasons of life. Just when I think I've killed my succulent because I forgot to water it and it's shriveling up, I notice how fast it bounces back just with a little extra love (and water of course).
I realize, we are just like our plants. We struggle through the toughest times where it feels like we'll never make it through. It's unfair and it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But we will make it through, we will survive, because we ALWAYS do. We are resilient. I absolutely LOVE the meaning of this strap and I hope you will too.
