I'm Still Here

Story

Of all four designs, this one is my favorite.

When I first started working with Darren on the idea of ombrés, I loved the thought of transitioning from one place to another through the use of color. These four designs, to me, were symbols of us growing into the best versions of ourselves over time. It was this concept that through whatever may come our way, we would persist. I’m Still Here is the epitome of this idea - that no matter how dark it is around us, if our flame is still flickering, we’ll light up the room. 

For this ZOX, I want to do something I’ve never done before.

After reading this, I want you to close your eyes and imagine your life, 20 years from now. Where are you living, and who are you with? What are you most proud of? What hopes have you realized, and what fears have you discovered were completely unfounded?

I found that in doing this, I was able to reflect on who I am right now - it was almost as if I was seeing the impact of the decisions I’ve made recently for their long term results. One important realization I had when taking a moment to write this letter was that I was proud to still be here - that I hadn’t given up, even when things were tough or failure seemed imminent.

My hope for this ZOX is that it’ll inspire you to be the person your older self is proud of. The one who, no matter the weather, protected your flame so you could continue to light up the room for others.
