It's Ok to Not Be Ok

Story

At first, the name of this Strap might seem to contradict many of the other designs we make. In fact, the first time someone requested this name, I wasn't really sure what it meant. As I thought about it more, I found that these words are something that speaks to all of us a lot deeper than we realize.

This Strap is for those of us who’ve known what it feels like have our lives spiral out of control. To have one hardship after another pile on, to the point where it feels like we can’t break into any more pieces than we already have. In my own life, I’ve felt that way after losing a loved one. I cried for so long it felt as if there were no tears left. The bottom is not emotionless because you’re broken - it’s because you’ve given everything you have and it still feels like it’s still not enough.

You don’t always have to put on your brave face and act like everything is alright. It’s ok to feel depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and misunderstood. It’s ok to feel like words can’t describe what you’re going through, or that you’re not yourself right now.

It’s ok to not be ok.

My hope for this Strap is something I pray for all of you out there in the ZOX community: That you find peace amidst the storm, and that you remember how much you are loved.
