Like No Other

Story

One of the most important things we can do for our mothers is to show them how much we appreciate all they did for us. As I get older, one of the biggest things I've realized is that I don't think it's really possible for us to recognize all the sacrifices they made for us when we were young. It's not until we're older and we realize how tough the "real" world is that we see mom for who she really is - the one who made life better. 

As a grown-up, I'd love to have someone pack my lunch each morning, drive me around so I can play in new and exciting areas, be okay with me taking naps, clean up all my messes and maybe even get a new toy once in a while. Mom made everything in life seem so easy, constantly being the buffer between us and the rest of the world. What's even more incredible is when you realize she did all of that while having a full time job as well - her work was truly all day, every day.
