Story: The phoenix is one of my favorite creatures to paint. Every time I'm asked to paint one, I pretty much jump on the chance. When I'm bored I'll doodle them on random pieces of paper, playing with how to make them fit in odd shapes. When I'm stuck with anything, I sit down and try to envision every way they would change when they spring from the ashes. Would they be the same bird? Or would they evolve each time?
More importantly, when I would completely fail at a new project or a new painting... or just feel like a failure in general, the phoenix would remind me that it's never too late to try again.
