The Shofu SummaDisk #0689 is a premium diamond cutting disk designed for dental technicians who need extreme precision when separating and finishing porcelain restorations. This specific model features a 22mm diameter and a "medium" 0.20mm thickness.

What makes the #0689 unique—and hard to replace—is its wrap-around design. In addition to the main diamond-coated side, it has a 1mm diamond "lip" on the reverse edge. This allows you to cut and smooth interproximal areas (the spaces between teeth) without the back of the disk scratching or marking the adjacent tooth. It’s essentially two tools in one: a high-speed separator and a precision finisher.
