Smooth Seas

When I think about 2020 in its entirety so far, one word comes to mind: Rough. No matter how you look at it, the events from 2020 have impacted every single person here on earth. The feelings we've experienced spread across the entire gamut too - from anxiety to loneliness, doubt to grief, each of us is trying to make our way through what feels as though it's become the new normal. 

When we made this Strap, one of the things I had in mind for it was the idea that when the waters are smooth, we make the mistake of thinking that we're in control. That our lives are great because we know what we're doing and everything will be just fine. 

But then the storm hits. Sometimes you see clouds on the horizon and you're able to prepare - other times it's as if the storm crept up behind you and your life is instantly changed into something you had never expected.

My hope for this ZOX is that it reminds you to keep your head up, no matter what waves may come your way. Do your best to see the good in every situation, no matter how difficult it may be. What did you learn, how did you change, who did you meet and what can you now do after going through that storm you faced?
