I had so many different people throughout high school tell me to go to college or that I needed to seriously re-evaluate what I was doing because making wristbands wasn’t a realistic goal. The thing is my dreams, goals, and aspirations weren’t up to them. They were and still are, up to me. When I understood that my life was mine and only mine to live. I realized I had the power to make choices and pursue what I was passionate about and it opened so many new doors that others were trying to close, showing me possibilities I never would have guessed existed.
